This Is My Second Album Release

This year is full of surprises. Just when I think it’s going to go one way, it goes another. Every day is a new adventure.

Which leads to today…

I’m releasing my second full album. This time it’s not the “Jesus music” I normally make.

Instead it’s…

VCR GOLD RUSH 2023: THE ALBUM is a compilation of all the theme songs I created as part of the Virtual Championship Rasslin GOLD RUSH project. I didn’t want to use the original copyrighted music and deal with any issues there, so each wrestler got brand new theme music.

Stylistically, it’s a bit of classic pro wrestling theme music mixed with some zany Weird Al Yankovic vibes. If you know the existing music for wrestlers like John Cena, The Undertaker, or Stone Cold Steve Austin what I came might make you laugh. These aren’t parodies as much as “fun reimaginings”.

So, if you are looking for something new and fun to listen to, it’s available on Apple Music, Spotify, and pretty much every other streaming service too.

But wait, there’s more…

I also released the Johnny Cadillac Theme Song as a single on all the streaming services this week.

If you are a listener of the podcast you have already heard the song and the story of how it came about. For some reason I never thought to put it up on the streaming services until I was on the Caddy Chat podcast last week and the idea came to me.

P.S. The name of this album is a homage to the classic WWE albums including WWF Full Metal: The Album. Back when people used to buy tapes and CD’s, WWE sold millions of them. It’s crazy!
