If you find yourself wanting to go fishing, I’ll give you the simplest, and easiest way to catch a fish.
Grab a pole, rig it up with a bobber, a little weight, a hook, and some kind of bait like a worm or minnow.
Then go along a shoreline of a lake, pond, creek, or whatever. Cast it out and see what happens.
If the fish are biting, you’ll probably catch something.
Now, I could explain to you 100 other more complicated ways to do fishing, but this will be more than adequate 90% of the time.
In fact, I still use this rig and I often catch more fish than other people on the same lake. Why? Because people are impatient and love complexity (novelty).
Yet in reality, the simple thing is often the best thing.
A bobber, worm, weight, and a hook is all you need to catch fish.
Keep it simple.
